Personally I don't know why American troops are in Iraq. If anyone was going to put Saddam on trial they should have done it when he committed his crimes. Just like you discipline a child when they break rules. If they are fighting for Iraqi freedom then they shouldn't. If Iraqi citizens want to be free they can fight for it themselves. I don't like Bush or his views. I didn't like the other guy running for president either. I don't think we have enough choices for our president. The last election was the battle of the idiots. Personally I wouldn't hire either George Bush or John Kerry to clean dog sh1t out of my yard let alone run my country. I also do not understand why some idiot would blow himself up to kill and old lady and some kids or anyone else for that matter. That is the problem with the world. Most people are stupid and have idiotic views.

Most terrorist attacks have been by US citizens. How many Muslims have detonated bombs on US soil? Bush is not stopping them. If you believe that, then you must think Clinton did an excellent job protecting the world trade center because it was blown up under Bush. So no I don't admit that he is doing a good job stopping terrorism. I think the attacks will be few and far between. They have to plan that stuff. It doesn't happen over night. 5 10 or 20 years from now is when to expect it to happen again. So don't be fooled into thinking Bush is stopping terrorism on US soil. If you still think so, what about all of the gang violence? That is terrorism on US soil.

A perfect example of terrorism. VA tech. Where was Bush and his anti terrorism campaign when that happened?

now you are trying to blame bush for what some lunatic did??it seems like what ever happens you will blame it on bush.what is your plan for stopping this kind of thing from happening?the shooter at tech was not a terrorist but a lone deranged killer looking to take what he perceived as a bunch spoiled rich kids to the grave with him.it doesnt matter if you are democrat or republican anymore they all work for the federal reserve which is a cabal of private banks working towards a 1 world government.the federal reserve and its thug collection agency the "IRS" are the real enemy and terrorists to this country and us arguing over is bush evil or not is just what they want,it keeps attention off the real enemies-the federal reserve and the irs

I am from Canada, the country to the north of America. Up here most of the people I know hate bush and the war in Iraq. It is time for him to admit defeat and bring the troops home. We hope his political party will be defeated in the next election too. Bush is a scary little weasel of a man.

I truly think the only hope there is for this world, is for democracy to sweep through some of the middle east (and soon).. unfortunately, other's priorities are votes and a return to power.. and with the media in their pocket.. well, we can see how well the anti (conservative) america propaganda is working..

Bush could not allow an intransigient leader like Saddam Hussein to challenge their super power position-you saw the arrogance of Sadam Hussein-chasing away the UN inspectors, firing at the Brittish and American planes and threatening the Kards-these had to be Challenged-there some wars that are really foolish wars-the Iraq war remains one of the most stupid wars in modern history and the man to blame in this war is the late Saddam Hussein.

What I'm most concerned about is all the negative propaganda spread throughout all the world so the other party can get back the vote.. Also the effort in Iraq would be so much more successful if the liberal biased media hadn't constantly demonized every move that was made.. and intimidate the whole effort into being a half hearted effort (when it comes to, well, effort!) Iraq could be a thriving democracy, but no, the only thing that matters is demonizing the president so the other party can get back the presidency.. (So we can keep progressing society into disintegration). hey! thanks for your interest! ..and blessings! :))

I hate Bush. I think that he was right to invade Afghanistan but there was no real reason for us to enter Iraq. To answer your question, Bush currently has about a 36% aproval rating here and many people oppose the war in Iraq. However we cant just remove our troops or their country will destroy itself and we will be responsible. We need to keep some soldiers there to keep the peace but we should give control back to the Iraqi people.

dear Kyle930 you have the worst view of muslims...you now if saddam killed the people , nowadays presidet Bush do the same as Saddam...All the people in the world hate saddam but try to see the reality...you will not be in danger if you have peace with muslims...they are humman as well as american ,as well as you and others... some times americans do the worst thing with blacks , or with indiand and you forget them...no one don't want to remember the vietnam....why??????

you hate bush, cool.but answer the question-if we made peace with all muslims ,how long do you think before we was attacked again?iraq was no friend of the usa nor was the iraqi people, afganastan was no friend either-both were self proclaimed enemies to the usa and swore its destruction.now history clearly shows that this will not end untill the muslims have either KILLED you ENSLAVED you,or CONVERTED you to islam or we have destroyed them, one side or the other has to be victorious in this war, which side are you on??its really all black and white, there is no middle ground and untill people are willing to accept this truth - this conflict will go on till the end of time. so untill some side of this WINS and is VICTORIOUS. so come on america let us be victors in this, let us unite, let us support our military, let us destroy our enemies and then go back to our petty political infighting.you may hate bush but at least he is american and i support him over any muslim in the world.me personally i am on americas side right or wrong i live or die with this country.GOD BLESS THE USA AND OUR PRESIDENT

Just to keep this brief, Rima, I'm American, and no, I am not down with the Iraq War; Look, we knew that Saddam was a terror in his own backyard, but also he wasn't responsible for 9/11 either; Put the credit where the credit is due; But yet, he went there and tore up that whole country; that I feel bad on; on top of that, lives were lost, and if your a person doing this, and you still feel despite of all that's said and done that your doing a "pretty good job" over there and getting the "enemy", something just isn't right. A few weeks ago, one of the late night laugh shows had a sketch about an Iraq model, and no matter what you said of did to it, here is the President saying that "oh, it's going to be alright" etc etc. Come on, two thousand lives and counting were lost, now they begging folks who already served to come back in, and you're saying this is worthwhile? I don't think I can say that. Now, if you went there and got the real culprit, ok; no problem. You have to do that, but to demolish a country just because, uhh uhh.

Incidentally the "Warrior President" (who couldn't even serve in the AIR NATIONAL GUARD PROPERLY) is quite happy to go to war in Iraq based on the SUSPICION of WMD but when it comes to North Korea which DECLARES WE HAVE WMD AND WE'LL USE THEM IF YOU COME NEAR US - the philosophy becomes - we need to negotiate. Is it any surprise the Iranians are going full steam ahead with developing atomic power?

Hello rima, I see on your profile that you are from Iran, welcome. There are many in my country who dont think he's doing such a good job on foiriegn matters or domestic issues. Some on the other hand think he is doing a a fantasic job. I have made and responded to numerous posts in here about the iraq war. I think that we are FINALY doing it right after 4 years. In the beginning, we went in under numbered and under armed and with out a clear after the fall plan. It is only in the last month that we are increasing our streangth and working with the local military and local leaders in iraq. We should have done this years ago.

i think mr.bush is a good president who tried to do the right thing(destroy our enemies and take the fight to them)lets not forget what the muslims WILL do to us if givin a chance.mr.bush i think will go down in history as a good president who tried to do the right thing by taking the fight to our enemies and not letting the battle unfold here within the borders of the USA,but because of the crippling political correctness that is plaguing the country, and because of the democratic party trying to hurt bush politically at every turn(even if what bush was doing at the time was right the democrats would still be against him)i think in the end the democrats, because of all their propaganda and media spin trying to make bush look bad at every turn no matter what-plus that the democrats appeared to be on the terrorist side, will be the group that is judged harshly by history because of their divisivness and politics durring a time of war against our ENEMIES.answer this question HAS PRESIDENT BUSH EVER ATTACKED A FRIEND TO THE UNITED STATES.it seems to me bush has only attacked those who have themselves sworn the usa's destruction and are determined to fight with us.anyone who thinks the muslims are inocent, peace loving, tolerant people-just travel to saudi arabia or any other muslim nation with your bible and i think you will veiw muslims in a whole different light

if some one had tried to asassinate your father and you got a chance to make sure that person could never hurt you or a family member again what would you do?????sadam had already put himself and his country into a position to be attacked, that bush could exact a little revenge is just icing on the cake

and i think you should watch farenHYPE 9/11.instead of trying to fight with me just dispute anything i have stated with facts.that would be a refreshing change. i dont like to argue or get personal, but i do like to debate
15 Apr 07
I think you should at least watch Fahrenheit 9/11 before posting your opinions on this subject. After that read some Seymour Hersh. It sounds like you have lapped up every single lie the Bush Administration has told about Iraqi Freedom.

Personally, I am counting down the days until Bush is out of office. In genearl, though, I would say that the country is divided pretty evenly between those that support the war and those who do not.
