Can you tell me how to pray to God?

GOD created you. HE loves you. You are HIS child. You don't even have to close your eyes to talk with HIM. You can ask HIM to help you with your problems. HE will help you but it may not be the way you expect. Watch closely for HIS loving touch in your life

Read what i write before. God alwasys in our heart. First thing you have to believe in Jesus and accept Him as your lord and savior. After that you can communicate your heart with Him because His present in everywhere and Holy spirit will lead you how to pray..God bless u

I always start my prayer by calling His name first, My dear Heavenly Father. And I thank Him first for the blessings He had already gave me, and many other. You can be thankful of having the eagerness to pray and reach out for Him. And now, you can ask or say anything that is on your mind and heart. Give unto Him the heavy burden that you have. And you will be enlightened. He will listen to you because you are reaching for Him. And when you have said all close the prayer in the name of His son, Jesus Christ our Lord and messenger to Him. A Christian is someone who have relationship with God through Christ. As we know, we can't have a relationship with God without Christ. Without Christ, God sees our sins when we approach Him. It's a good start that you long for God. You may have a different religion but it doesn't matter. It is Christ who really matters now. When in a quiet place where you can concentrate, just tell God what you want to ask Him, tell Him your troubles, ask for wisdom and give your thanks to Him. Philippians 4:6,7 Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer & petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guide your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus...

well, my situation is a little bit similar to yours. when i faced something that makes me upset i'll pray to God, in fact the way of how to pray doesn't matter that much, what we want is getting comfort after praying, right? Therefor, just have your own way of praying and i'm sure God will also hear you! God loves you. My lotter, i wanna say thank you to you because your blog tells me this very site that i'm looking for, please help me along the long and winding road of learning English.

Obviously,there are lot of ways you can use while ur praying but for me i just join my hands,gather all my concentration just like performing meditation and keep on speaking to god like hi god u'hve been such a great to me that u brought me on this earth i really wanna thank u for that deeds as well as the parents you gave to me are really caring and loving apart form that just give me strength to fulfill my dreams and overcome my fears and troubles.That's all..it works.And finally say thanks for everything ur done.

i think there is no hard ans fast rule to pay.when u want to pray, just pray with your heart. i think if we pray hard, god definitely listen to us.its my belief. i am also not christian. where ever you pray, god listen if you pray with your heart.

Hi maximus, I know you posted this a long time ago, but I wanted to reply. First, I want to encourage you to give your life to Christ. He is the Son of the living God and He wants to live within you and have an intimate relationship with you. He will change your life! Ask God to help you. I like to get down on my knees and pray to Him. I find such awesome peace and comfort when I talk to Him and humble myself before Him. He always hears and He always answers, but not always the way we want Him to. He knows our hearts and He knows our needs. He will be faithful to you. Just trust in Him and obey Him. He will never let you down! Acknowledge that you are a sinner and in need of His forgiveness. He will forgive you of all your sins if you will only ask Him! Then invite Jesus Christ into your heart and trust in Him in everything. Read His Word, the Bible, and let His Word speak to you. Find a good Bible-believing church. Ask God to guide you to the right church for you. Visit different churches. I believe it is very important to attend church. We need the fellowship and encouragement with other Christians and believers. Plus it is such an awesome thing to worship and praise God! I pray that you will find the peace and comfort that only knowing Christ can bring you! God bless:)

It takes just child like faith to speak to God. Tell him how you feel, and what you are experiencing. Ask him to be real to you. You can say anything you want to Him, because He made you and He knows you. Personally I like to use the mnenomic ACTS. Adoration of Jesus followed by Confession of our sins. Then Thanksgiving for all the rich blessings of our saviour and His help through difficult situations. And finally, Supplication - which is presenting our prayers and petitions before Him, the God who knows all our needs. When you are a Christian, it is not as if all your problems will end. God never said that believing in Him will take away your problems, but He promises to be next to you beside it all.

Do you belong to any religion? Perhaps if you belong your religion has his own way of praying. Or did your mother not teach you how to pray? You can say anything to god when you pray, in churches, in mosques, in any serene place. There are also lots of prayer books that you can read on.

hi maximus, it's easy to pray, just close your eyes, then tell Him everything...just pray as if you are just talking to your friend....God is a our friend, if you need someone to talk to, just pray...

Basically, prayer is simply talking to God just like you would talk to your very bestfriend. There are four basic steps involve in the proper way to pray. One is Bring the problem to God's attention immediately. Second is Supplication. Supplication is a very honest and clear confession that tells God that you need his help. Praying to God is just like having a relationship with him, meaning you acknowledge Him in your life. We can pray long or short prayers, spontaneous or not, in different languages, it doesn't matter, because God is powerful, and is very approachable! He is a good listener, so we can always talk to him anywhere as well, in your bed, outside your house, the mall, school, work, everywhere! Just confide to him whenever and whatever you feel, if you feel thankful, sad, troubled, happy, anxious or just any emotions, He's there to listen and if you trust Him to every walks of your life then you'll find peace and happiness too. It's true his power is calming so why don't you start your prayer by 1)asking for forgiveness (like what I do), 2)accept Him in your life (it's for the best), 3)Thank Him for every blessings that he gave you, and most of all, he could answer your prayers. i don't know in which religion you wish to learn this prayer. In christianity, the desciples of Jesus asked him how to pray and this is how he taught them to prayer, you can refer this in the bible mattew 7:9-13 it says: Our father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL be done on earth, as it's in heaven.Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever: Amen! if you also read the bible you'll get more wisdom and know more ways to pray. for every problem you'll know how to pray for it. thanks, take care.

i start my prayer by first, worshipiing him and glorifying him.. saying "you are the lord of lord and you are the king of king", " we worship you Lord we glorify you".. and asking him to forgive me to the sins i have committed and asking to forgive as well the people who have sinned against Him and to the people who have sinned to me as well... and then I thank Him for all the blessings he has given me, for always being there for me and for always protecting me... and then after that, i tell him my personal prayers, the thngs i want and everything i wanted to tell him... i also pray for the people and the country of Israel because that is his promise land and for the whole world.... and praying to him as well my special prayer requests.. and ending my prayer with "this I pray in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen." hope that helps... :D God bless u always...

maxi, I noticed that you believe in God but your not a Christian. Your prayers would be much more effective when you put your faith in what God has done for you. You see God requires more then just knowing that He exists, because even satan knows he exists. What God wants from you and me is to put our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, His Son, at the cross. The reason God requires this is because of our nature. You see God is a Holy God and when you look at the nature of man you will see how sinful we are. This doesnt mean that because of our sinful nature that we are bad. For the most part we are good people but you still cant deny that we have sin in our nature. Jesus states that no one can come to the Father but by Him(Jesus)John 14:6 I point out the above statement to show what God requires of us. It's hard for God to answer prayers of those who disobey Him by not putting their faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the answer to your prayer. accept Jesus to be your savior and allow him to work in your life. If you want learn more just respond to this and I will be more then happy to help.

its easy to pray to god.... when u pray to god its not you who speak but your heart. Open your heart and speak straight to God, tell him what you want, tell him the reasons, why you want...tell him what you have done from your part to deserve what you want, and finally ask for his part to get you what you want... if you have done this steps you can say that your prayer is complete and your wish will be granted!

when you pray to the God,you will feel comfortable. But at the meantime you must think how to solve the difficulty at present!personally, i think the God is very busy!HUHU.Because so many people pray to the God at the same time.Maybe you can queue~~
