Virtual Reality

The devil is at it again, he's trying to make me believe that all hope is lost, but the devil is a liar! My Lord has given me the victory and God's word cannot return to Him void. So, as I type this I'm praising the Lord and celebrating the victory, even though right now all I want to do is cry. To give you all the details would be giving into the lie, I will not believe what my eyes see, or give into the emotions ... Instead, I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help.
I'm not asking God to stop this or fix it ... Instead, I'm asking for God's will to be done, to stay in His presence I will give up everything ... I surrender my will Lord, I don't want anything as much as I want to be your obedient child.
Have your way in this place Lord, have Your way! Change can cut like a knife, but I know Jesus will heal this wound and restore my soul. The same God that sent His precious Son to save us, will turn this around and make it alright.
Father, I trust you and not this virtual reality, I know You have a reason and that this is all for Your glory. I know that this is the road I must take and I know that You're leading me all the way, and so I will follow and praise You inspite of what it looks like or feels like ... God is not a man that He should lie, nor is He a man that He should fail.

You realize we now think you are battling a great thing or going through a painful crisis. That can be very demoralizing. Good for you! You have all of the knowledge you need, and the skills to use it to help yourself! I'll add my prayer to yours. Hang in there!

Thank you for your prayers. This is a test of faith, the devil wants me to see that there is no way out, that there is nowhere to go but down. God wants me to see that there is nowhere to go but up. I choose to believe my Father's report. God looks and see the beginning and the end, I know that He's looking at this situation and seeing only victory ... I too must look at this and see only the victory of my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
When you pray for me, just ask that His will be done in Jesus name and all will be well.

You are not alone byfaith518, and you are doing the right thing. If there is anything the devil hates it is seeing one of God's children praising Him through the storm. Keep up the good work and know that your brothers and sisters in Christ are praying for you during this tough time.
