Ladies: Silver or Gold???

Just call me Silver Junkie.. :) I love that white glow real silver has about it. Gold is nice, but it's just not the same. I have 2 silver charm necklaces and 2 charm bracelets loaded with over 50 silver charms between the 4 of them plus lots of silver rings, chains & earrings. I've now got my daughter hooked on them too.

I am all about silver too. I don't know why I don't like gold. Well, number one it looks sickly on my complexion but also, just prefer silver. I have always prefered it since I was a teen and started wearing jewelry at all. And that was in the 80's silver ring thing. I am not a big jewelry wearer but I always have earrings and a necklace and they are always silver or another color but never gold.

I am a silverperson. Am not into gold at all, UNLESS it is white gold *lol* Kind of looks like silver. if i ever get married or engaged i will for sure havea ring in white gold, cos even though i love silver i feel that a wedding ring should be gold=)

I don't like gold at all I love silver. All my jeweris are silver and my piers. I don't think that gold suits me anfd I don't feel comfortable wearing it. I'm so much like you in this case:)

It's really funny that I ran into this question as my fiance just asked me which I prefer, white or yellow gold! he wants to pick something out and surprise me. I always have favored yellow gold and that is what most of my jewelry is. My skin is dark - olive-tone and it looks great on me, but I am tempted to try white gold....decisions, decisions....LOL. :)

I have both gold and silver jewelry but silver is my favorite. I have more silver jewelry than gold. I don't like the color of gold, I don't know why, it's just a question of taste. So I use silver, for me it's prettier, I love the color and it looks good. If I had to choose gold I would choose white gold because of the color but it's easier to choose silver and it's cheaper!

I like silver or white gold. It looks better with my olive complexion. I am also alergic to gold.

i will give to my girl gold to make him happy but in my life its not only gold or silver but the trust in relationship

i love silver jewelery also. i tried gold a few times, but that does not fit me. so i stay with the silver. The problem is that i am a bit allergic to silver, so you can always see me with red years, or red spots on my fingers, but still i live it so much, that i do not think that i will ever give it up.

I've always been a silver "addict", and I kept saying I would never give silver up in favour of gold. My mom tried to explain that it's gonna be the time for me to switch them but who listened? I almost hated gold in that time... But this summer, on my 18th birthday, my parents gave me a gold necklace and pair of earrings and my boyfriend gave me a gold bracelet. I just fell in love with them eversince. I don't know whether I fell in love with gold or with the jewelry because they have an emotional value... Anyway, when spring came, i felt the need for a little change so I switched back to my silver jewelry, because I realised how much silver I have that deserves to be worn more. So, now, I'm attached to both silver and gold. I prefer wearing gold on special occasions and silver in normal days.

Gold use to be the thing. When I got married 20 yrs ago, it was gold~ no doubt. Now I love silver. I wear both silver and gold together so I can keep my wedding band on and wear the silver that I love so much.

i love white gold...yellow gold just doesnt look good on me...our wedding rings are white gold with saphires.....

I would have to say that at this point in my life I prefer silver. It's much less expensive than gold so it's easier to buy numerous pieces to switch off. I have a few silver chains, but many pendants which I love to switch off depending on my outfit. Luckily I'm not allergic to silver as manyh people are so I can wear silver earrings, although for my ears I prefer yellow or white gold.

I like gold more.. Wearing silver makes me feel cheap and gold looks alot better on me.I dont wear much jewelry though I wear only necklace

i love gold jewellery the reason is that gold is really gold u can not compare gold with any other jewellery.even i m male but i fondoff to gold jewellery, bracellet and chain.

i usually use silver. for me, silver is a symbol for simplicity that's why i use silver jewelry as my daily accesories. but if there's celebrations or something, i prefer gold jewelries.

i personally prefer silver jewelry. It looks far bette on me than gol does because it has cool undertones while gold has warm undertones. i have cool undertones in my hair, si=kin, and eyes. Naturally, i look better in cool tones.

My opinion is that ladies should go for gold compare to silver.Because if u say gorgeous that means you are giving complement to some girl.An girls can't be silver because they are gorgeous & shine like a gold.

i prefer silver for fashion and practical reasons. first of all, it matches better with my skin tone. second,it's cheaper than gold.

I want to wear gold jewelry but it doesn't fit my skin color I have no choice but to wear silver and I think silver is "in" now.
