Anyone know of any reputable credit repair or counselling agencies? Also, does anyone know of any lenders that are willing to work with you if you have bad credit. Finally, anyone ever have a bad credit rating and successfully repair it? If so, do you have any tips or suggestions?

Depends on what your looking to buy, but I know Americredit will do auto loans for people with bad credit, usually at a terrible interest rate but it would be something that would help to build credit until you have substational enough credit to refianance with another bank. For credit cards check out orchardbank.com, HSBC a big company owns them and they work with people with bad/no credit. Also if credit isnt too terrible HSBC also will do car/auto loans, and they wouldn't have a terrible interest rate. It would be good, if you could get a credit card with a low balance, and routinely charge things on it, and then pay it off the next month. So charge $100 and then when the bill comes pay the $100 off. This helps to rebuild credit and shows lendors you are capable of paying it back.
