When you go to the movies do you always fall asleep?

Hahha, Marcia, all the time. But, we don't go often. It is $9. a ticket. I wish we had a $1.movie. Wow, what a bargin, even if you do fall asleep. I even fall asleep if we bring a DVD home. +++ for your posting again. Hugs, M&M

Well I haven't gone to the movies in a long time. I usually just watch them at home. That being said though when I did go to the movies I stayed awake through them. Now at home I might dose off but not at the theaters. Probably because I know if I miss it I can't restart it like I can at home and I'm not going to waste my money to pay for a nap.

I never fall asleep at the movies. We have dollar movies too. Wednesday is dollar day, dollar movie, dollar pop, and dollar popcorn. Great deal. I go with my mom every now and then.

I try my very best not to fall asleep while watching a movie because I dont want to waste my money by just falling asleep, unless the movie is really really boring.

Not all the time. Only when I'm so tired and want to relax, but then eventually fall asleep in the middle of the movie, or if the movie is so boring. Otherwise, I would be in my moviegoing and movie-watching mode, because I love to watch movies, complete with popcorn and soda. I have not yet watched in a dollar show. I will try to see around here if there's any. That's interesting. A good place to take a nap. Hehe. Happy myLotting!

I have never fallen asleep at the movies. I don't go very often and when I do it is something I really want to see.

i usually rent it out.i fall a sleeo only when i am very tired which is very rare.

My mom, dad, sister, aunt (my mom's eldest sister), uncle (my aunt's husband), and I went to see Fantasia (1940) as it was playing at a local theater back in the early 80's. Everyone of my family members fell asleep, including myself, except for my aunt. LOL This is the only movie I remember waking up from when at the theater and I have seen a lot of movies in the past in theaters. I rarely go to theaters now as I can always just rent/buy a DVD that I want to watch. So much cheaper for a family of four on a budget.

You are just like my Mum - she can never keep awake during shows too. :P For me, no, with the exception of a few movies I have fallen asleep in (such as Romeo and Juliet lol), I have never fallen asleep. Movie tickets aren't that cheap here so I wouldn't want to watch them too. :PP

I go movies with my friends gang and never fall asleep while watching .we as a gang enjoy a lot , whistle and clap watching the movie.we always select good movies and eventhough its a boring one we will enjoy the company of friends.I dont exactly remember when i went to movies with my family.hope its 10 YEars back or so. We friends plan out for movie for along time and then go so we always stay energetic till the end hope its because of the big group otherwise i may also feel sleepy

NO. i dont fall asleep when im watching movies coz i love to watch movies...i want to understand the movie im watching thats why im not sleeping...i watch a lot...

we dont go to the movies very often either...we do have a dollar theater and if we go thats where...the popcorn and drinks still cost a fortune though...my husband almost always falls asleep...i just let him sleep unless he starts snoring...

Noooo way,i dont sleeep even if it the most horrrible movie ive ever been to,coz the primary reason being that i can't sleep when im doing something,and next being the sound in the theatre,i cant sleep with so much sound around me!!!...moreover,u dont pay the theatre for jus sleeping in there now,do u?!?!?

I don't fall asleep while watching a movie because that will be a waste of money. My husband and I only watch movies if the movie is worth the money we're going to pay for the movie theater. Though we often borrow or buy DVDs whenever we have a movie we want to watch.

Mariciascott, that happens to me a lot of the time. Even if it is a good movie I still fall to sleep while I watch it. So I usually have to borrow it from the movie store or from the public library. And yes it is good to get out sometimes. I am planing on seeing a movie tommorrow. But I do not know which one yet.

No I don't fall asleep in the movie house.. especially here in the Philippines, watching a movie cost a fortune.. yeah...some movie house are more cheaper but I think you'll watch alongside rats and cockroaches...LOL To really enjoy watching movie here you have to pay ... I mean serious payment...that's why before I go, I always make sure that I already read film reviews on what movie worth to watch.. and I wouldn't sleep after that effort of looking. and for those films who are in the average rating???... I'll wait for it on HBO...hihihi

i do fell asleep also . becuase i work at night so even the movie is a blockbuster i fall asleep . the wierd thing is when someone invited me i usually fell asleep but if im the one who invited to watch a movie i dont seep. odd huh?
