How do you wake up in the morning? I have to get up at 8am for work, and I can never seem to roll out of bed in the morning. I try a shower, but dont like to eat anything because then I will have to go to the bathroom, and coffee makes my stomach hurt. Any other options other than going to bed early? Because for me to feel not tired, I need to sleep like 13 hours, seriously. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 dont do anything for me. At all. Weird, I know. Any suggestions??

I always wakeup at 7am. I don't know why because either I sleep for 8 hours, 7, 6 or even just for 3 hours, still I wake up 7am. Maybe this is what I used to. But, I got out of bed 7:30am to prepare my self to go to work at 8:30am.

Sometimes I do as you. This morning I am late for work, when I wake up to see the watch,it's 8:30,my work time is 9am o'clock,I spent 5 minutes clean myself, and then run to work, hehe,I am always waken up by the alarm clock, but now it's already cut no ice on me.I suggest you to see the doctor, the herbalist doctor, maybe it's useful.
Best regards!

That's a good question, instead of coffe how about purified water. Doesn't a lot of people as soon as they rise in the morning is stretch their arms above their heads. If not it's probably a good idea to do so. Stretching exercise in the morning is the best time of the day to get your heart rate flowing. Since in the morning you are the most rested and have the most energy to expend. Plus 5 to 15 minutes is all it takes.

I get up at 4:15 am everyday, my boyfriend wakes me up or I hear the alarm go off and after telling him some 3 times he will get up. I get up and make him breakfast and pack him a lunch and get our son's lunch ready for the day. Sometimes my granddaughter will come over at 5:30 and I will watch her for her mother, but most times I can go back to sleep for a few hours, after everyone leaves and the house is quiet. I need about 8 hours of sleep a night, sometimes that is hard to get around her, but it sure feels nice when I do it. Perhaps you are not getting even iron in your diet that is making you tired. 13 hours is a bit much for anybody.

I usually get up (if I can) at around 2-4 am because my dial-up connection is for free during those times. I set up my alarm clock at 2 am so that I won't miss my free internet session. LOL!
The hardest part about waking up is the actual act of leaving the bed because it just feels so comfortable that all I want to do is curl up and go back to sleep. How hard or how easy it is for me to really wake up usually depends on whether I've gotten enough sleep the night before. If I had enough sleep, i.e. 4-8 hours, I wake up quite easily but if I had little sleep then I wake up feeling groggy which not a nice feeling at all.
The first thing I do upon waking up is go to my computer and turn it on and connect it to the internet. After all my sole purpose for waking up early is to go online and log on to myLot. After my free session has expired however (it usually ends at 7 am) I go back to sleep. LOL!

I don't really have a specific way of waking up, as everyday I can wake up at a different time, thanks to my timetable. When I do wake up though - usually after 8 hours of sleep, I have one cup of coffee sometime between getting out of bed and leaving for class.
Maybe you could try sleeping in a room alone in complete darkness.

As single mum to a toddler and working fulltime I never feel I had enough sleep. I have three alarms set as I am likely to switch them off with my dozy head in the mornings. The alarms start going at 6.
Coffee to me is a must in the morning.
If needing 13 hrs of sleep a night you might want to try a new mattress or pillow... restless sleep can mean you dont feel awake in the mornings. Also not eating too late, relaxing properly and cutting out any other issues that can cause restless sleep can be worth a try.

I lay there for a bit, wonder what time it is tell, I acually roll over and look at the clock. I wake up the hubby so I can get out of bed to go to the bathroom. Then I make coffee and something for breakfast, if I dont I will just roll back over and catch some more "Zzzzz"s

Wow if you need that much sleep then yes I suggest you go to be real early. And you might want to take some vitaimins. Or you might want to go to the doctor because I dont think its normal to sleep that much.

My partner wakes me with a cup of tea at 8.30am before he takes the kids to school on his way to work. Once he's woken me, he lets the kids in to see me and give me a kiss before they go.
I find that actually getting out of bed is the hard part. I drink my tea and then force myself to get up. Once I'm actually out of bed and starting to move around, I wake up somewhat.
I find it easier to get up if I've managed to actually rest somewhat. Suffering from insomnia isn't good for a healthy rest and sleep, and so most days I feel distinctly groggy till I've been up for an hour or so.
