Have you tried writing for magazines or even writing childrens books maybe that would be an option you could look into. I have been writing for associate content and I have wrote a couple things for daytipper. I like associate content best though. I am going to try to write more for them because that it is a good site, I don't know if they pay anyone outside the united states though. Maybe you could check into constant content. I am not sure exactly how they work but they do pay. Just keep trying and hopefully something will work out.

Others will pay for submissions of short stories or poetry.
