i've just accidently bumped into my ex-boyfriend the last week and i wasn't sure of how to deal with him..if i would talk to him or just leave him..but i ended up in an awkward situation chatting with him..but only for a several minutes..after all he had been my hubby for almost 5 months but then again i just thought..what would be a nice way of dealing with "old acquaintances"?? is there a right treatment for people from your past such as ex-partners??

If the breakup was a good break, I mean there wasn't any hard feelings, then why not chat when you meet. But if you hate each other then and you are still angry now, then why stop and chat?

I would just simply greet them every time we had a chance of seeing each other. No further talking to be done instead just greet them have a pleasant and happy life always.

if you'll ask me, you shouldn't feel very awkward towards your Ex...Well, it's natural to feel that way...but you must bare in mind that he's your Ex...nothing is between the two of you so there's nothing to be afraid of. You can chat with him even just for several minutes. Just feel plain...Ordinary... Make him feel that there are no hard feelings anymore...

I just try to be polite. I was with my ex for almost 5 years and we had a mutual break up. I have no hard feelings for him. But it is still kind of awkward when we run into each other. But we have both moved on. He is married and I am engaged with a beautiful little girl. Whenever we run into each other we have enough repsect for each other to say hi and ask how each other are doing but that's about it. I have enough respect for my fiance and my ex boyfriends wife to not keep close contact with him.
