Do you have to be in a certain position in order to sleep?
I cannot sleep on my stomach, I have to be on my back...
My husband just before falling asleep will roll over onto his right side.
Once asleep, I never move, I always wake up in the same position I fell asleep in, but my husband tosses and turns and generally wakes on laying on his left side...
Do you fall asleep in a certain position?
Once asleep, do you keep that position? Or do you toss and turn?

I generally cannot sleep on my back unless I'm extremely tired. I prefer to sleep on my stomach. I will usually start out on my side and then just before falling asleep I will turn onto my stomach. I'm very much a toss and turn sleeper. I'm constantly throwing the covers off or pulling them back up. thankfully I'm a sound sleep as is my boyfriend and he has the same type of sleep habits. Do you snore since you sleep on your back? I find that when my boyfriend sleeps on his back all he does is snore. Maybe that's just him though.

I can't sleep on my stomach as well. Usually I sleep on my right or left side, though I like to sleep on my right side more. Also I can't sleep comfortably straight on my back. If I try to sleep on my back I will end up on my left or right side after some time. And I never be in same position til morning. I wake up in the middle of the night and keep changing my position.

hi, i do not sleep good at all, with the cancer pain i wake every hour or so. i can no longer sleep on my stomach the way i like to sleep. l lay on my back with my knees up, or on my right side in the fetal position. my knees hurt real bad because i can not straighten out my legs for long in bed. twenty or thirty seconds, then the pain starts to build quik. i long to lay on my stomach and sleep the whole night through. that seems like a life time ago now.
thanks,mahalo, oahu lopaka.

The way I sleep is just like yours, a sleeping beauty princess. Sleep on my back and wake up the same position I fell asleep. If I tried to sleep on my stomach, I'll wake up the next morning with sore neck.
On the other hand, my husband is busy when he's sleeping. Like a helicopter, luckyly his foot hasn't end up on my face, yet....hehehe.

I have a certain position when I sleep. I cannot sleep on my back. I am most comfortable facing left side. Sometimes my husband thought that I am intentionally doing this to avoid facing him and his snoring. But I just fall asleep easily on this side. Sometimes when I got myself into sleep in this position I would also find myself waking up with the same position.

I usually sleep on my side, hugging my pillow. It is the only way that I can fall asleep. That is the only position that I can be comfortable in. Although once asleep its a different story. I have been known to toss and turn during the night, and give the occasional kick every now and then.

With like that lived to was arranged. For the position of sleep that was good according to me slept as usual but appeared to right.

I always fall asleep easily when im on my left side and my partner is embracing me. Sometimes i sleep also on my stomach but get tired of it, i got stiff hands and neck so i just sleep on my left. I think im not the type of sleeper who tosses and turns.
