Hi, I think I would prefer to be called Ferdy, short, snappy or even Fed? It's a difficult name to shorten really I guess and you really wouldn't want to be called Fer (as in fur) would you?

well FYI, my name isnt Fernando, so i wouldnt be called Fer (fur)!... ferdy sound a little g@yish.. while Fed seems like your a britney-kev fed. fan.. lolx

FUR NANDO or maybe FERZ Btw if you call him FERZ that would mean 'SUPPOSE' in urdu so you can also call him HEY SUPPOSE! and he will say 'What should I suppose?'. Lolz, just trying to be funny =p

Well I have three friends called Fernando. One is always called Nando, one prefers Fer, and the pther is known as Feña, - so I guess it is one of those names that has many variations, and you just choose the one you personally prefer.

I thought guys with the name of Fernando used 'Nando' as a diminutive? You couldn't really call a guy Fern, or Nan, on Nanny.
