When you purchase on eBay how much do you take into consideration the feedback score of the seller?

I do actually now that I think about it. And then I tend to take a look at their feedback. If I see at least two negative within a month's time I tend not to buy. Unless it was from the same person or what not and if they have a lot of positive to sort of cancel it out. But if they have like 2000 feedback and only one or two negatives, then I don't take those into account.

I always check the rating of the seller. After you buy something from ebay, you are required to post a feedback and rate the seller. This helps people to verify the integrity of the seller. Always, read the feedback left by previous buyers to avoid disappointment.

Yup. Definitely. I check almost all the feedbacks of the seller. The item that he/she sold.. even the buyer of his/her items. Each and every piece matters into buying stuffs at ebay. Lots of scams are happening there thats why we have to talk extra precautions before buying something especially if it is expensive like gadgets, cellphones or whatsoever. :)

feedbacks is important factor must be taken into consideration when buying things from ebay.if the seller receives a lot of negative feedback then you should avoid from buying with them.if the seller just receive 1 or 2 negative feedbacks is still ok.i would check why they are given negative feedbacks for that.sometimes the buyer left negative feedbacks for unreasonable reasons.so this might be unfair to the seller.there are a lot of scammers in ebay right now.they signed up for multiple account to cheat buyers.so better be careful in buying things before you regret if being cheated.besides feedbacks they are a lot of factors to be considered too like shipping cost.some sellers are charging too high for the shipping cost to make some profit from there

Feedback score is critical in deciding which sellers to buy from, and depending on what your buying its good to look at their feedback even if its 100%. If I was going to buy a computer and the seller was at 100% but it was all from buying and selling ebook, recipes etc...I would be hitting that back button really fast. Thats how the scammers lure people in by building up a great feedback rating because they know a lot of buyers don't actually read the comments.

I buy a lot from Ebay and I have learned the seller's feedback score does make a difference I have only had two lousy deals and they were both from sellers with low scores.

For me, feedback makes a big difference. I have often not bought something because of bad feedback. I will look at what bad feedback they have, if it's one that seems unfair that they didn't deserve then I'll still bid from them... But if someone has several or a recent bad one that makes you think that they aren't a good seller, then I won't bid on something.

I don't care about their score as much as what % of it is positive. If I'm spending much money, I usually check their feedback to see if they have any recent negative, and if they do, why they got it. Someone might have a score of 6000, but have only 60% positives, wich means they have 4000 negative transactions! (That's an exagerate figure, but you get the point.) :)
