me too! i'm so proud of being pinoy.. it was never a coincidence that our country is strategically located in Asia, we speak English, plus we are christians. Goodness, we are sleeping giants! middle-age people would say this is an old cliche.. but i don't think so. the internet boom will help our country get back to its feet.
Yup, our only problem is the politics. But i guess it will only be solved if technology here would be properly implemented. Corruption would then be eliminated because there would be transparency in the Government. We would know where our parent's money (a.k.a. taxes) go. if every transaction would be computerized, our country would be clean as white..

Yes i am proud to be pinoy, what i love about our country are the different culture and traditions. With the 7107 islands, comprising this country theres really a lot to learn about. Though we may have issues in our country right now specially with poverty and politics. I know that someday everything will be given solutions. Our values being filipinos is something that we should need to be proud of and as well share to the future generation.

Of course I'm proud to be Pinoy. I'll bet my life for it! but excuse my term, I just need to let this out, I find this irony so hard to take ... "hirap mag tiktik ng P0.40 habang ang iba laway lang milyong dolyares na."
Thank you cherylane for this post.

yes im very proud of being a Flipino,i love my culture but i hate its politics too much because of it our beloved country suffered so much pain of sacrifice due to the wrong of such irresponsible leaders of the land who know nothing but fatten their pockets and leave the peoples pocket empty...i hate too see greedy Filipino in my own native land, but i love the Filipino who is still cheerful and happy even if they feel the sufferings cause by others and still manage to give a friendly smile....damn! im proud to be a Filipino!

aside from the politics that produces lots of red tape and corruption -- i am very proud to be a filipino. i always say that nothing compares to the mix of culture and the rich heritage we have. ever been in a country with different languages and dialects? i am actually hoping that before i die i could get to see all the provinces here in the philippines! mabuhay ka, pinoy!

I am proud to be a Pinay. The Filipinos are very loving and caring. I can't wait to visit. I just hope that the people in public service put the welfare of the common people before themselves. It's about time that the Philippines improve and be able to compete internationally.
