never want to be a teacher

i had an experience of teaching english for two months, and i'm really fed up with the job. by the way, i'm a chinese, in china, english is placed in the priority and lots of children in china are learning english from three or four years old. i am a boy, teaching is not hard for me, i thought. but when i really got on the post, i understood the meaning of losing yourself. you have to act very humorously to attact babies' attention.you have to jump, you have to make funny faces, oh, my god, after a class, you are to be exhausted.so i just don't want to be teacher in my life anymore!

Teaching is a tough job and comes with a purpose. For a good teacher, s/he should have purpose behind teaching. Most people have joined this profession just for the sake of money and everyone is like joining it as if you have nothing to do so go and teach, as a result mostly you can't get the quality. It requires training, hard work, dedication, hell lot of research and excellent skills.

ya i sompletely agree with you teaching is a very boring job.... its the most annonymous job i think. i cant teach any one and i feel it too much boring to teach. teaching is like hell to me....

How old are the people youa re teaching? If youa re teaching people over the age of 6 or 7 you shouldn't be jumping up and down and being entertaining. You can set a discipline structure in your class that makes your job much simpler and puts the responsibility to pay attention on the students.

the other reason i don't want to be teacher is that you can't
get a group of disciplined students, most of them are naughty, hard to control.even if you are teaching older students, like in high school, the problems can never be avoided.you have to try hard in putting them in order, not trying hard to teach something.

teaching can only be boring if you make it such.
teaching is the most rewarding job, altho' the rewards are often not in financial ways. it is also the one that allows you freedom to be innovative and as creative as you want to be. esp ehen youre teaching kids because you hold their minds in your hands. at the age of 3-4, you are probably one of the figures of authority they will look up to.
teaching can be tiring, and sometimes you will lose your patience. but just think of how much you are making these kids in what they will become someday. it is in imparting knowledge and social skills that matters. it is not about knowing that 1+1=2, but how the need to know 1+1+2 will change one's life forever...
