is the fact that your family is incomplete a reason to ruin your life?

I think sometimes people hit an emotional crisis in there lives. But at sometime you have to take responsibility for your own actions. People that want somebody to blame for their failures will always be able to find a reason. On the other hand other people withstand great adversity and learn and move on.

I really hope that my children don't do that. We are separated and we are trying to make it as easy for the kids as possible so that they can see their dad whenever they want and we are still friends.
I hope that they don't go off the rails later on in life, because I'm trying so hard to give them a good life, and making them feel that things here are normal and that it is ok that we aren't all together as a family as we still do things together, we just aren't all together all of the time.
