Do you read book for pleasure? What do you prefer: a good book or a movie?

i like watching movies but i also like reading books..i find it more thrilling to read books but since books here are too costly,(especially the good ones..the hardbounds and those written by great novelist and authors)..i can only indulge on things that my money can buy such as local pocketbooks and magazines...
