a simple answer to your simple question is to get out . do not think about it because it will only bother you for the rest of your life. a mature way to deal with it is to reduce your excess baggage. have a life. life is too short to waste your time in wanting something or someone you cannot have. there are a lot of options in the real world and life is not all that. enjoy your youth and most specially everything around you! there are lots of things to thank for.

I had a crush on a guy many years ago. Well, about 30 years ago. He is the brother of a good friend of mine. We briefly dated when I was 16 years old. He wanted way more out of the relationship than I was willing to give. About 4 years later we met again. I was married. The feelings I had for him when I was younger came flooding back. Morals kept us from going further than a friendship.

Eat a piece of chocolate and get over it? LOL
There isn't much you can do if you can't or shouldn't be with that person.
Especially if one or both is in a relationship.
Unless of course, neither one of you wan the relationship that you are in...then I guess it would be best to end it and then maybe you can seek a relationship with each other.

Depends on the situation. If the one you want is married then NO!!! But if the one you want is single then it's okay. But the question now is, does he/she likes you? It's important also that the person likes you.

I have to agree with the other comments. It would totally depend on the situation. But it does sound like something you shouldn't get involved with.
