YES!!! Sometimes I find myself singing them to my daughter.. she loves them. That movie was one of the best of all times.. Me, my mom and sister could watch it over and over when when I was little. I still don't mind popping it in when I'm sick. For some reason.. it makes you feel better =)

I sure can sing a few of them. I love this movie. It was too unfortunate for me that I couldn't watch it completely because the dvd was scratched. But I've got my personal copy and now that I have one, my player is not working. Phooo!!! But I sure do love the songs. Amazing.

I absolutely love this movie. I used to cry so much when I was a kid to see how their life became such a hardship and such happiness when they escaped! I was so in love with that movie and still am! Kind of related to this, I was rummaging through an old house I lived in and I pulled up the old linoleum in the dining room and found an old newspaper article regarding the real Von Trapp Family! They were touring the United States singing and there was an article about it that was cut out and for some reason got stuck under the linoleum. I thought that was the neatest thing that I found that. I kept it for several years and lost it in one of my moves. It is one of the regrets I have!!! I wanted to keep it and make a scrap book out of my saved articles, but they are all gone now. That would have been my prized article!

I have loved this movie since I first saw it as a child. I am now a grandmother. I have sung the songs from this movie to both my children, and now my grandchildren. No child has passed through my life without hearing me sing, "Stay Awake" or "Feed the Birds" or "Spoonful of Sugar" at least once.
This is one of the best movie musicals ever made, in content, in music, and especially in morals.

I used to be able to. I think I can still manage most of them. I adore the song "Edelweiss," so that was always the one that stuck most with me, but I love them all. Now I want to watch it again!

Of course I know all the words to all the songs. I put that CD in my portable CD player when I went to the walking track. It was very hard not to sing out loud along with the songs. There were other people at the track so you don't want to embarrass yourself. I did tell one friend, in passing, what I was listening to. The next time I passed him he spread his arms and sang, "The Hills are alive..."
Really, who doesn't like The Sound of Music?

Oh man, I love that movie. I've been listening to a lot of songs from it lately too. I haven't seen the actual movie in a few years, but I can sing along with it when i do.

I memorized the soundtrack long before I ever saw the movie ... so I was really suprised by the plot (and the length!) when I finally did. But I still love singing "I Have Confidence." That's definitly my favorite song from the musical.
