What I listen to the most is Christian radio and that is mostly klove. http://klove.com
I like southern gospel like the Gaither show, and I also like some opera. I love singing praise and worship in church, but also like to watch country music videos.

I love rhythm and blues, soul music from motown
jazz and easy listening. I was brought up the sounds of the 70's.

Everyone has different tastes in music... which is why there is such a great variety of music out there.
I have no interest in sitting down for the sole purpose of listening to relaxing music. But I know many people who do.
I grew up as a teenager in the sixties... and for me... music has always been something which want to make me get up from my chair and start dancing. I think dancing is the purpose of music. If you go back in time and look at indigenous people like the American Indians or the Australian Aborigines... the purpose of music was to dance around a fire.
For me music is a band with a set of drums, 4 electric guitars... including a bass, a synthetiser, two saxophones and two trumpets. You will never see Paul McCartney sing a song without a full band behind him. Paul McCartney knows what music is all about.

Good music is going to depend on the circumstances for me. It will depend on what you are doing and where you are. My favorite is Contemporary Christian. Most good music you can have playing in the background and continue with what you are doing.
On the other hand, if I'm out dancing, I want good dance music, again, depending on if I'm in a Country Western type setting or Ballroom dancing.
