Its one of the great fruits we have here in the Philippine and many say that it smells like hell but tastes like heaven.
How about you have you tried this fruit?
It does smell bad when you are not used to eat it but once you have tatsed it, surely you will ask for more and more.

I've had durians before. They are excellent. I guess they only smell bad to the people who don't like eating them. To me, it smells wonderful and tastes great. Especially those very bitter types with thick yellow creamy flesh and small seeds. Yummy!
It's an acquired taste and smell, I guess.

I like durian, this is also a tasty fruit in Indonesia. But I only can eat few pieces right now, too much durian will make my stomach sick and I used to got durian drunk when I ate too much, means when I smelled durian at that time I will feel dizzy and got sick :p

Yes, I dont eat too many of durian. It makes me drunk. But I eat when its really on season and when its not on season here its very expensive. So we just wait for the right time to eat durian when its on season.
Hope you have a nice day!

Since it is said to be yummy, I always try to eat durian when offered but I don't really buy it myself or to my own cravings. I have tried eating it a lot of times to get my tastebuds be familiar and appreciate the flavor, but to no avail. After all the tasting, I decided to just settle for the durian candy instead.

I have never tried it before, but I would like to sometime. I don't really know where to get it around here where I live, but if I ever come across it, I would be interested to see what it's like since I've heard how good it is. It sounds like something I would like! :)

I grew up and studied in Davao City and during the months of August and September, durian fruit are displayed in almost all corners of the city. Durian is a part of the Kadayawan Festival every August. I love to eat Durian. It taste like heaven indeed, but for some the smell is too much to bear.

Yes, its yummy, it took me awhile to learn to love the durian fruit. My father is a durian lover and would always buy it, I have seen my mother never liked it when I was younger coz I thought its bad and not as good coz mother hates the smell. But when I got older I got curious and tried it myself then I have realized that I have missed so much. Now i love it and i am craving.

That is great..The supplement I take combines mangosteen fruit, aloe vera and green tea with many viamins and minerals into a liquid form.
They use the whole mangosteen..
Tell me how much to buy this fruit in the phillipines?

Durians smell nice and taste nice if bought and consume immediately. I used to enjoy the fruit when it was really seasonal. Now that we can find it all year round, I do not eat it anymore, partly because it is no longer appealing. Besides, it is high in sugar and cholestrol other than heaty.

I have not tried it yet. I have heard that it smells terrible, but tastes wonderful. I hope that I get a chance to try it someday! I've heard that some hotels do not allow it in the rooms because it stinks the place up!
