I use my microwave for the following:
Heating up previously cooked food
cooking food from scratch
cooking potatoes, faster than oven and much nicer
heating up tubs of butter. This is particular useful to warm up the butter for putting on toast or onto my potatoes.

Hi, my microwave blew up about 18 months ago and I've never replaced it and don't miss it either. Probably I'm not into cooking and stuff and usually bung something in the oven to warm up.

I use my microwave to warm food up and thats about all.
Some people do use it for cooking different things.
I have known some people that use it to cook meat
and even use it to make a baked potato. I have never
tried that and just use it to warm up food.
