I love Doctor Who......

As the 3rd series progresses I'm beginning to think there is staying power in the doctor for this generation and plus the hints of things to come is purely a fan boys wish list on acid!

Yay more daleks next week. I liked the episode last season with both daleks & cybermen in the same episode, that was great. Only shame was it's all condensed into such a short program, they could easily have made an amazing full length movie from that story.

Yeah that is the only pet peeve I have with the current dr who it does not follow with the american shows of 20+ episodes as it detracts from the quality of the show apparently(although where our tv licence fees goes is a mystery to me!!?) Judging by tonights episode there are more time lords out there!(just like the daleks,maybe!??)

It just seems obvious in a way, the daleks survived this time war that happened in between the end of the sylvester Mc Coy years and present day doctor who, so why not more time lords and what of the Master he's got to be lurking about somewhere even after the tv movie of the early 90's!

We've had name checks for the Eternals and the Macra, the Doctor describing his home planet in a way that was straight out of Hartnell episodes, then being told that he was not alone, plus rumours of a certain villain turning up in the programme and the daleks turn up again next week.

The master, the master he's got to figure back into the series again sometime, have you noticed the vote buxton posters in some of the backgrounds in the new series!! hmmm!? looks to me like a hint of a future storyline like they did with the bad wolf in the first series!

I really didn't like episode #3. Although I was sad to see the face of Bo die. I found it boring and a letdown after episode #2 with the Shakespeare and the witches. The special effects for that one were amazing. The girl who played the youngest witch seemed awfully familiar. I am starting to like Miss Martha Jones. I look forward to getting to know her better. I wish I could thank the people in the UK who post the torrents for those of us in the US and other parts of the world not lucky enough to get the BBC. Time to go see if it's up yet.

I'm with elkhawk I cannot wait for it to start here in the states. I wish it would already. I'm hoping it's as good as I'm hearing from you guys who can see it already. I don't suppose it's up on the net somewhere for us to view already is it? I know some channels here in the states are doing that with the shows and having them up there for people to view. Be nice if they did.

I think your completely right. I love Dr. Who and i have many many friends who watch it who are my age. Also a lot of young kids love it. My boyfriends cousin is addicted and you can see the "staying power" by looking at all the merch in Woolies! :]

I gotta be honest with you I don't watch Dr Who, I watched a couple of episodes when it first came back to our screens as I used to love the old Dr Who's when I was little (although watching them back now, you wonder why) but just can't get into the new stuff, maybe it's because it's less cheesier than it was or perhaps I've just gone of sci fi!

For those (like me) in the US there are a couple of options for seeing the newest episodes. Someone has been posting them at YouTube, however they rarely last more than a day or two before being taken down. Now if you are comfortable with downloading stuff, try www.demonoid.com. They have a member there who goes by MadMartha. Usually within a couple hours of the episode showing she has it posted and ready to download. She also offers the Confidentials and for those who want it a HD version of the eps as well. On a good week I get to see the new ep before I go to bed on Saturday nights. To use demonoid you will hve to register. It's free but only open on weekends. You'll also need a torrent program so run a search for a program called uTorrent. Thanks to MM I have every single episode of the new series on disk. Hope this helps RRW
