Do your children try to say their gum for later?

Where does your child put their gum for later? My daughter loves to put on the side of her dinner plate. She'll chew it for hours and hours. Yet, she can't stand chewing the plate of food. What? Does it take to long to the food or something? Is the bubble gum way too much more gratifying? "Does your bubble gum lose it's flavor on the bedpost overnight?" What is your take on this issue?

lol I totally forgot about doing that as a kid. I used to save mine in the fridge in the little butter hatch part. My mom never told me anything but if I think about it now that was really gross. All the bacteria from your mouth on there and you stick it somewhere for more to grow. wow I could of gotten sick from that. But at least in the fridge it was safe from bugs. Bedpost I would think some kind of bug would be eatting on it while I was asleep.

Yes my children often save their gum for later. My sons used to hide their gum in their bedroom normally near their beds. But my girls where different and used to put it on the side of the plate like your daughter. And they all used to chew the gum for ages, except my youngest one she would not chew it for very long at a time.

Ugh I hate when they do that! On Easter mine put her gum inside a plastic Easter egg. Then later when she was emptying all her Easter eggs, she said, "Oh, THERE'S my gum," nd popped it back in! Gross! Doesn't it lose its flavor? I'd rather they just get a fresh piece of gum!
