When I was a kid, I think that I can eat hot chili food, and quite good in it, because my brother didn't enjoy to eat spicy hot food, he said that he even can't taste how delicious that food if served by chili. Even he can't eat the chili from instan noodle which for me it's very light taste. But then, I found some friends who really fanatic with chili, spicy and hot food, wow... they are also very good, and can stand with the hot even I'm already give up with the hot taste. I knew one friend of mine can eat about 100 pieces chili with fried food without feeling hot, he even can enjoy it. And now.. my hubby.. he is the chili eater when I was met him before. He told me that he never feel hot anymore for every hot food, and that's true... my friends always challenge him to eat hot food in some restaurant whom people assume that the food is very spicy and hot, and he always feel glad with that, never feel too hot. In my house for daily food, my maid always serves chili everyday, and when people are already can't add more chili, he still want more. Since I'm with my hubby, only twice he admit he feel a lil bit hot, but maybe only for 5-10 minutes, he already can relieve from that taste. And now even I can eat food in more hot level than before because of him. And you now, my brother's wife also a chili maniac, and he started can enjoy hot food since that -lol- I wonder if my friends in mylot love food serves with chili or not. Can you enjoy it? Or you better stay away from chili because it can make you suffer?

I love spicy food! I'm a huge fan of Indian cuisine. My favourite dish is chicken tikka massala. I always ask the waiter for the chef to make it "extra spicy," though more often than not they don't do it. I guess everyone is afraid of a lawsuit these days. What I like to do is this: get a very spicy dish then squeeze some fresh lemon over it as the acid in the lemon intensifies the heat! You should try it.

Spicy this. - A spicy hot food can do this to your tongue.
You are not alone who enjoys spicy food.I very much love spicy dishes. Though i dont eat those hot chillies raw but i love to have them crushed and made a 'chutney' or chilly hot sauce and burn my tongue.

I love hot, spicy food. Indian cuisine is probably my favourite - can't beat a good hot curry! I don't cook that much but when I do I often use chillis to spice meals up a bit. Unlike many people I know I never suffer any ill effects from eating spicy foods and they don't really make me sweat or too hot either.

Would you believe, even if the food is not spicy I would either get a raw chili and crush it on my dish or sprinkle my food with the powdered cayenne pepper? Any boring food can be exciting when I do this. At first I can only tolerate a bit of spice but eventually my tolerance builds up and find the hot and spicy no longer hot. More chilis on my food please. Do you know that eating chilis can be beneficial to the body? It has vitamin C, an antioxidant that can help in removing the threat from free radicals that causes the body cell to mutate. The capsaicin in chili works as an anticoagulant, so there is a possibility of preventing heart attack and stroke caused by blood clot. They say that eating too much of chili can cause hemorrhoids but observants claim that the burning thing is already broken down before they reach the lower intestine. Nice.

Yupe chili contain of Vitamin C, that's good fact for chili lovers :) Eat more chili not cause a disease, but if people are already got hemorrhoids, and the stomach is not good, better avoid chili that's true. By the way we also add raw chili even not spicy food, I think chili lovers have same attitude -lol-

Well that is a very good topic for me. i do not get along with spicy, chily, hot food. but i really like it very much. I always get a very red face when i eat spicy thing. and my stomach hurts, and somtimes it even hurts when i go to the toilet (sorry). So i really try not to eat those things. I also find that spicy food will cause me to lose the natural taste of the food itself. so i really try not to use it in my food. But, yes. I like it very much.

Yeah I enjoy it. I can eat anything that's spicy, with chili, or hot food. If it's a hot dog, good, if it's a spicy dog better, if it's a spicy chilli dog even better.

I enjoy eating spicy and ho food but not that hot like your boyfriend of your freind that could still enjoy the 100 pieces of chilli. Ykies, thats too much for me to handle. I can only tolerate 2 to pieces 3 pieces of chilli, more than that is already excessive for me.

Honestly, I do not like to eat spicy food much. I feel no problem on my tongue when I am having spicy food, may be I need to drink some cold water to cool myself down, but the most important thing is I will keep sweating at my head, the sweat even drips down to the table , that is why I do not really enjoy eating spicy food, also if something is too spicy, the original taste of the food will be lost, what you can feel in your tongue is the taste of the chilli.

I'm a sissy when it comes to chili and hot food. It makes me all hot and I can't taste anything. I feel as if I have an allergic reaction to spicy food. Whenever my family would go out to a Thailand restaurant, I always have to order something different from everyone else because I can't eat spicy food. It burns my mouth so bad. Also when I try to eat spicy food, it makes my throat sore the next day. When I was younger one of my friend dared me to eat a red chili pepper. He offered me 3 comic book and SNES game (battle toads) if I was able to eat the whole thing. I ate the whole thing and got my reward for it, but about 3 minutes later, I was literally crying like a little baby.

I am from Guangzhou, China. And the food here is very light and fresh and we don't get used to eat the pepper and chili. The spicy food isn't our daily food. However, I like eating spicy food now and then. The feeling is so exciting. I especially enjoy the spicy hotpot:)

I can't eat really spicy or hot food. If I eat anything remotely spicy my stomach hurts. I don't like hot food. I watch people put hot sauce on stuff and wonder how on earth they could enjoy that. I guess I wasn't raised eating it so its hard for me to change.

I do enjoy hot and spicy foods. I grow different types of peppers in my garden each summer and the I experiment with different dishes to try them in. My favorite thing is using Jalapenos and Cayanne peppers in my chili. I also use Rotel for a little more zing in my chili. My husband and my son both have acid reflux problems, so I have to make seperate pots, but one of my neighbors son loves to come over when I make chili. He always asks if I could make it hotter pleae! I try and sometimes I even get to him with the hot and spicy flavor of my chili.
