living independently is a big step. you must be financially and emotionally ready to take on the responsibility of being alone. like paying the electric bill, washing your own clothes, preparing you own food, and other stuff. some teens wanted to live on their own for the wrong reasons. some teens wanted to leave the house so they could have the freedom to do what their parent's forbid them to do. if you are to be independent please do it for the right reasons.

ya,but not if you use it in the wrong ways as most eens teens intend on doing.if you use it in the right way ,that is leading a life on your own

I certainly could not go back to living with my parents, oh the thought of it! It leaves me with great fear! I love my parents and everything it is just that I could not live with them again I used to argue all the time with them.

it depends. there are some aspects wherein it is better to live independently like, you can manage your own household. you can go home anytime you like without worrying that your parents might scold you. you can make decisions on your own. more on the personal side... for living with parents, you can depend on them on everything. you don't worry financially but you have to stand by their guidelines. you are not that free compared when you live independently. i think if you are single, it is still better to live with your parents because when time comes and you get married, you will miss the times when you live with them.
