What does your typical weekend consist of???

My wife and I are very busy people, So a typical weekend for us is her catching up on everything and laundry. Mine is cooking. like today I made meals for most of the week then I freeze most of them to pull out later in the week. then if I decide to make something else I will leave it in the freezer for the following week.

that all depends, at weekend, I will cant sleep in ever on the weekend.I get up make me a cup of hot tea and mess around online and on the computer till about 10am. Jump in the shower and head off for the weekend to my wife,We usually have a big lauch together then have a rest, Usually we can find something going on in town every weekend. If not we either stay in and watch netflix movies or go out to the movies.it is my weekends ,what is yours ,my dear friends. Tks.

It depends really. This weekend my husband and I worked so we didn't do much. I worked yesterday and he worked today. I have done laundry,planned dinner, and done posts on mylot most of the day. I wish that I could cook ahead like that and make my week a lot simplier. Husband compares that to eating left overs. YUCK_ he says!!

My husband usually works weekends so it is me and the kids. I usually will wake up on Saturday, make breakfast and go back to bed and relax while watching a movie. (This is my time for the whole week). After showered ect it is off to the grocery store, clean the house, do laundry ect. Sat evenings we ususally will order out and watch a dvd. Sundays is church and getting dinners ready for the rest of the week. Today my daughter and I made cookies and I caught up with a friend on the phone. Now just hanging around until hubby comes home from work for dinner. Sunday nights is The Amazing Race and Desperate Housewives. I also have to get the backpacks ready for school tomorrow.

I agree that our weekend is similar inasmuch as we work during the week so the weekend we try to catch up on errands and housework. However, we do take some time to spend together as a family or get together with friends. It's nice to have some down time just sharing a meal or going to a movie.
