I was just wondering why it is some people get on really well in life and seem to have great things happening and not really having to try to hard,
whilst other people try really hard and give their 100% but still seem to struggle with having anything nice happening to them, are there really winners and losers in life, are some people really blessed with good luck? What about you?? Do you find good things happening in your life without any efforts???

I too wonder this. Life is hard at times for me but then other times it is easy.
I guess some people are blessed or they are just really talented at life.

because people don't understand life and their purpose, we are energy, if you wanna be rich, it is easy, get up right now and go to a mirror, look at yourself and say "I AM WEALTHY, ALL MY OBLIGATIONS ARE MET MONTH AFTER MONTH"realize that their is no shortage of anything, this planet keeps changing and anything you want is yours, don't believe it? ask yourself this, what do I say to myself all day every day?
do you constantly say "I ain't got enough, I can never afford that
If a man says he can't, he won't
If a man says he will, he is right again
look up a list of the universal laws, do a bit of study
I am wealthy beyond most people's imagination, you can be to

Good things and bad things are relative. What seems good from one perspective might be bad fron another. So a lot has to do with how you look at the events in your life.
When we choose behaviors we are also choosing the consequences, whether we look at that before we choose or not. So if I'm working really hard for something but by doing that I make other things happen that don't have good consequences, it will seem like we were "losers." For instance, if I told everyone that my goal was to be a famous athlete and I work really hard at it but don't have what it takes to make it some people would say I was a loser with a "bad" result. But maybe I find that I've gained a lot of improved health and new friends and get those good things from it, even though I don't "win" I have good results.
The key is to make good decisions about our choices and to have a positive attitude about life in general. My grandmother always said there was some bit of good in everything, even if we can't see it at the time. I thought she was a crazy old lady until I became an adult with some life experience and found that if I looked really hard in even the worst situations, there was something good in it.
I have been blessed a lot in my life. I've had some very difficult times, some really "bad" things have happened. But through it all I have remembered what my grandmother taught me and I look at even those awful times in retrospect and find the good in them.
Have you ever noticed that there are some really "poor" people who are always happy and grateful? My grandmother didn't have much when it came to money or things and she had been through some really terrible times. Yet she was always thankful for her blessings, her family, her friends, her church, the weather, whatever it was. She was probably the best "teacher" I ever had.
When the sun shines it is without any of MY effort. When my grandson says "I love you Baba" it is without any of MY effort. If I see a rainbow, hear a bird sing, feel a soft warm breeze in spring, smell lilacs blooming, . . . well, I think you get the idea.

Ive always had to work hard forevery thing I have. I think the things you go through you learn more in the long run. So really if you get everything real easy you don't learn as much as working hard for it. SO i say its all on how you view your success.

JJ, me too. I was so blank and scared growing up. But some people just have that special talent...like pianists, violinists, any musician who learned the instrument at an early age. Even eight month old babies who can name the Presidents of the United States by viewing pictures of them.
I went to college and it took me twice as long as everyone else. I guess we're just not blessed. I wish we were.

Wow u copy pasted my discussion started by me 1 day ago .. Wow u r really doing nice by achieving more than 500 posts. It's too bad -- u just changed some things and all other matter is same.. Now don't say .. this thing came into your mind and u did that. I am really surprised to see a copy paster like you. I am sorry if my words hurt you. Being a newbie here -- I know people ignore my discussions and I can see so many replies on your discussion.. May I know why ?? I have also created the same thing .. I know the discussion is created by you so the story is different .. you are old here .. have so much of time to spend here and have so many friends who will just see what u have made and then comes to reply.. For me things are harder and the members more than 500 posts are taking advantage of this thing. And yes I am really unhappy with what u did.. u simply copy pasted and I wrote everything with so much effort .. so this really hurts .. my Dear Indian friend.

That is what you call fate.
Life isn't really easy and like what Forrest Gump said "Life is like a box of chocolates, You never know what you're gonna get"
People who often get their way may not know what 'hard work' and 'disappointment' means and probably when the time comes that they'll get disappointment they will break down and cry. Unlike many of us who are often struggling to get want we want, even if we fail we still know how to help ourselves to stand and continue achieving our dreams.

I should say life is full or ups and downs, some even say that life is somewhat a roller coaster ride... bumps here, bumps there!
However, it's just a matter of seeing things that would make a person really happy and content with what he currently has attained. If he takes things in the brighter side despite the trials and hardships he has been encountering, I guess he can still afford to smile and say his life is worth every breath he takes.
It's how we count our blessings that make us feel we have achieved what we are here for.

I will tell you mt dear friend.
What you asking is something i alwasy wondered!
WHy is it that some people get all the good things easily??
After talking to a few friends of mine + after analysing a few incidents in their life i came up to a conclusion that it is not that SOme people get things easily, ITs in thier MIND, THOUGHTS, AND IMAGINATIONS.
I hope you understand, it about the feel that everything you wish, you will get and this feeling makes things possible! There are many things that they might not achieve, but these small achievments make them happy and hence they feel they are getting things easily. I think it lies in the positive attitude , and in thoughts...rest, WE have to work hard, there's no substitute!!!

For me life is easy some times but much harder many times.
Its really hard and struggling for a good thing in life. For those people who got everything easily are really have a great luck, i'll say. without luck no one gets anything.

It's probably based on the mindset of people. If people think happy thoughts then they would more often than not encourage good things to happen to them. It also depends probably on the faith of the person. If he believes that all is well, then it would definitely happen to him.

this is why .... we came to a conclusion that everything is fated.. some people.. they tend to do less.. but.. they have a very good luck.. that they can even be richer than us doing nothing.. on the other hand, we have to struggle 100% just to get as little as 1% of luck compared to the others... is it fair? :) .. of course it's not.. but things are fated.. so.. do accept it

some people need luck, or else they would not be able to survive. Also there is a bias, people are very willing to tell you about thier good luck - but not willing to discuss thier bad luck...it goes to their self image/Ego

It will be nice if I'm like that. but I think I'm more of a pessimistic person. Most of the time I fail to see the good side and bright side of every bad things that happens to me. Sometimes I dwell myself so much with the things I don't like that I do have. I know its a bad habit but I'm trying to overcome it.
Actually I envy those people who see things in a very positive way even if its an obvious failure.

I don't consider myself lucky - ie..not a lot comes my way that makes my day, I odn't ever win in a raffle or on lottery, I dont find breif cases full of money or get rewarded for my good intentions and I do beleive that some people have all the luck - however, I find I am lucky in other ways - like having a wonderful husband and child, and the fact that I have all my arms and legs and things in the right places healthwise...so I can't grumble - there is always someone worse off..

I'm a big believer in the power of the law of attraction. People who seem to have "luck" because all good things happen to them, often are just positive thinkers and they act on their ideas and thoughts in positive ways. As a result of their positive energy, they attract positive energy. Those with so-called bad luck have the opposite experience because they create too much negative energy and as a result draw too much negative energy toward themselves. When a person lives in gratitude every day and gives back to the world, good things will come to them.
