i feel irritated when people would ask me. they would say that i should get married since i'm on my late twenties. I don't think that this should be the only reason why we should get married right away. i believe that there are a lot of other things that we should consider before taking the step of marriage. i do believe that marriage is a lifetime commitment.

I feel the same way you do. Age isn't the gauge for our readiness to plunge into such a commitment. Being asked this question is at the top of my list of pet peeves. Sheesh! -lol- And when you think into this further, people won't stop just because you got married. The next question they'll ask you is "When are you having children?" It just never ends.
The most gracious response I could think of is to just smile sweetly and just bite my tongue. You don't know if your answer might offend them. :)

For years that question has always irritated me, aside from what is your age? Thank God I'm finally getting married this year, then I don't have to answer the same questions that really affect my mood. What is annoying is the way people act around us as if they know better. Many times I've wished that they just leave me alone, or just wait when it's going to happen.

My boyfriend and I already have a baby and I'm so tired of answering that question. When I tell them that we don't have any plans of tying the knot they go "But you already have a baby". I'm like, "SO?"

Hi I too feel irritate when people would ask me this thing. I try to avoid them all because of this. They will again ask me the same thing next time. I really don't know how to answer beautifully about this question. When time will come I will definitely get married -- this is the only answer comes in my mind.
