Jeet Kune Do - Way of the intercepting fist

There are many kinds of martial arts but my favorite is Jeet Kune Do and Ninjutsu.
Well lets discuss about Jeet Kune Do. Jeet Kune Do's literal translation is "Way of the intercepting fist" and it was developed by Bruce Lee in 1967. Jeet Kune Do's fighting system was the first "Free-Form" martial art ever to be brought to martial arts.
Jeet Kune Do is also known as JKD(by its abbreviation).It is the simplistic system that allow the fighter to be creative in his own expression of JKD.
So guys what do you think about JKD? Do you think that JKD is the best of all martial arts? And you guys are welcome to provide more information on JKD here.

Just because a lot of JKD guys that went into the UFC lost does not mean that JKD doesn't work. I have talked to a few outstanding instructors of JKD and they said JKD is one of the hardest things you could ever do. JKD is the one art that I really want to learn. I like JKD for its simple movements and direct movements. The basics are the things I find most important. It's hard to say that JKD is the best of the martial arts, it depends on the student and how much effort he puts into it.

In the first UFC (vale tudo) i've never senn a JKD guy win....
BJJ, Muay Thai and some Wrestling guys won all...no JKD.

Hey thanks for the info dude. I didn't know about that. But I think that if Bruce Lee was alive and if he were to participate in the tournument, he would have surely won it. lol!!!

Bruce Lee invent Jeet Kune Do in order to have a TRADEMARK into it....
since he cannot use Wing Chun Kung Fu because the Chinese Martial Arts Community is angry to Bruce because Bruce expose the art of Kung Fu to the foreigners....
thus, Kung Fu must be kept secret.....
and during that time,
the people know only Karate and Judo,
the people are ignorant when in terms of Kung Fu....
and the reason why martial artist who learn Jeet Kune Do as of now cannot use the art to win a fight because they have no strength and speed like those of Bruce....
and they have no idea on what Wing Chun is.....
Jeet Kune Do without Kung Fu is useless....
because Jeet Kune is used only for Movies....

Bruce Lee's Actual Fighting Art is: Wing Chun Kung Fu
