Tonight at 7:00 pm EST I am going to begin a week-long vigil of peace, love, compassion, understanding, and healing.
I have spent most of the day, as most of you; in total speechlessness, wondering why? wondering what can I do? wondering if just one person can make a difference?
Maybe one person can make a difference; I'm not sure, but I am certain that many people joined together for the same purpose of higher good CAN AND WILL make a difference for the BETTER.
Below is what I wrote in my Blog today. It is now 6:56 pm and I am off to begin the journey of peace and healing. I invite you to hold hands with me and each other and please join me. Your Sister in Love~Donna

There are no words to be found to fully express the sadness of today's events at Virginia Tech University.
I sincerely hope that none of you are immediately affected by the actions of yet another gunman on yet another American campus; but at the same time, we are all affected by those actions.
We are all affected by not just the actions that happen on our soil but those that happen world wide as well. Tonight I am going to begin a week long offering of a special candle light vigil at 7:00 EST and pray for the healing of the wounded hearts so deeply in need of healing. I think that is a very wonderful idea Donna!!!!
I will join you and go light my candle and will do so every night for the remaining nights of this week.
As you said, not only for the actions on our soil...but there are many that are dying overseas too.

It's nice to see more people centering their worries and thoughts on the problems, shortcomings and hurt of others, and try to make a difference.
I didn't hear of this, Though i'm in Canada, which usually doesn't make a difference, but me not watching tv does, or reading the news, or anything really for that matter.
I am so sorry for what these families have to go through, And Now that i know, I will be asking for healing and release for all these people.
I'll be part of your ceremony as well, so that maybe as a group, we can make some kind of difference.
I hope all these people know that there are many centering our thoughts on them.

erm.. who is grandma donna? sorry.. but i don't really know who is she.. erm.. may i request to pray for her too? .. i don't know how important is that lady to you.. but as long as she's important to you..i'm sure everyone will get a chance to pray for her too right? it's pretty obvious i posted here to get some earnings.. but i sincerely want to pray with you .. thank you =)

Read over the discussion once or 2ice, she's Grandma Donna, and is asking for us to come together for those the families of the campus shooting in the states that took 30 precious lives.

This is truly beautiful...I think many of us wonder the why of it all, and the idea of setting up a vigil prayer shouldn't just end after a week...but we all should take time out to send our prayers and energies for the general healing of our planet and for mankind...for unfortunately there is so much negative events going on..I just hope and pray that something like this never happens again.

That is such a wonderful idea, Donna. I will be joining you. At times when we are speachless or feeling helpless it is nice to have even just some small act like lighting a candle to help us focus. The positive energy generated by many people performing this act will create healing for some.
