We talk about so many things here, both superficial and weighty, and it will go on even after our demise. So what, in 2 sentences, will people say about you after you are gone? What of yourself will you have left behind?
My guess is people will say:
He made us think
He was always loyal
And you?

At times he was offensive, at times he was inspiring; but, at all times he was genuine. And genuinity carries much more weight than simply catering to that which the masses want to hear.

We have planned to leave our sons our love letters when we were In Marriage Encounter. It will show them how much we loved each other and our children. I have been writting for about 10 years amd I want the stories to be passed on to our grandsons.

Well, when I go someday, I would like people to remember how nice I was to them and how I can be concern about them.

Hmmm...only 2 sentences? And I seem to be having a hard time coming up with 2! I'm not sure what people will say, I know I would like them to say that I was a dedicated, loving parent and a true friend, and I always seem to be able to make people laugh. Usually it's at me, but hey, a laugh is a laugh. Thanks writerbob, now I'll be thinking about this all day!

Isn't it funny how our role as parents define so much of who we are as adults. Before my kids, my two would have been centered on writing and music accomplishments, but now I want most to have been a success at what ultimately is a non-perfectable art.

That's fine. Jesus - Holy Spirit - God - in the end, these are all words, there is a truth and reality that supercedes all of our fantasies.
