I like both walking and swimming very much indeed. Walking in the countryside whilst seeing beutiful green fields is one thing I especially enjoy. My favoutite is walking whilst seeing gorgeous coastal scenery. I love to see the waves dancing up out of the sea. Tall cliff top walks can be very exciting and give me wonderful views. I like to take my camera and take lots of photos in this case. I adore swimming in warm water like at a tropical beach, for example. I always like the sea water to be calm. I can get a bit scared if the water is very rough and there is a strong tide pushing me far out to sea. Snorkelling to see beautiful coral and colourful fish is another thing I really enjoy whilst swimming. Waterfalls can be refreshing places to swim. Swimming pools vary. I don't like ones that are very busy or that have a pool with a very cool temperature. When I was in New Zealand I went to a place that had about ten pools, each with a different temperature. My favourite was the warm one, but the one that felt almost boiling or the ice like cold one.

You like nature so much. Have you been to Bali, there a lot of beautiful beaches there, and you can swim in tropical beach. You like swim in warm water so much, feel more comfortable and relax. Which part of New Zealand is that? Thank you so much to let me know about that.

I train Swimming so it is great for me. I can swimm only once a week for 1 hour and 30 minutes but it is ok. Better something that nothing. I really like it cause after I fell great. It is on Saturday evening and all time after I fell just wonderful. I also like running cause it is really good exercise but I don't do it very often. Walking is not for me. I can't just walk alone trough park or something for my training alto I like to walk. How about you. Do you run?

I love swimming but there are no swimming pool near my house so I usually walk or jog in the morning as a form of cardio vascular exercise. Maybe if there's a pool around the neighborhood, I'll always go there and swim the whole afternoon. It's good for my health and it is also a theraphy for my sickness, I have asthma.

Swim is good for your asthma, looking a swimming pool near your office or school maybe is the best way, because you must be careful when you are walking or jog. Thank you friend

It will depend on your time and resources. If you have plenty of time and have your own pool or have a nearby beach, i guess swimming is the best. But if you do not have to much time and the beach is far away from your place and no pool, maybe you just have to go for walking.

I enjoy both but if i were to chose i would go for swimming. However walking or jogging is a more "easy" and affordable solution and i'm using it every day on my way to and from work.

I like swimming better than walking because I find it more relaxing. When you’re walking, you sweat all over and this makes me uncomfortable. While if I’m swimming, I can just float and have a relaxing time. Although I must admit I haven’t done any cardio exercise lately. I used to go to the gym and work on the treadmill and bicycle. But ever since I gave birth, I can’t find the time to go to the gym so now my cardio exercise is when I’m taking care of my daughter. LOL

Take a daughter to walk in park or swim in the pool. Good for her to learn and play. Swimming is good for baby.

swimming - swimming as a relaxation
i'd like swimming more than walking. i feel that i am more exercised when i swim because i feel all my muscles are working. i also love the feeling of water on my body. it is so relaxing and comforting. i just can't get enough of water and i just love swimming so much.

I do both..I like both but if I really have to choose from the 2, I'd choose swimming. It's my fave past time especially if I'm with my friends, either at work or my long time friends when I was still in college. I love to swim even for longer hours and for me, this sport is never such a boring activity for me. I could spend days swimming and I don't mind about it.

I much prefer walking and I'd love to have a treadmill. I don't feel comfortable wearing as little as you generally need to when swimming and I don't like getting water up my nose (which I usually wind up doing)! :)

Wow, this is a hard choice for me as I really like both. But I guess that I would have to say swimming. I think that it burns more calories than walking. But walking can be very nice as well.

Yup both are burn calories and good for your health. Maybe you can combine it, one day for swimming and the other day is walking.
