I love cross-stitching, i have a few finished projects, but unfortunately, I havent had the chance to have them framed as it is pretty expensive. Anyone else love cross-stitching?

rdrelle1 oh wow that's cool! i dont know if i can do that myself... i know grid lines can sometimes be a pain in the you know where, but i think i'm better with looking at those :)

rdrelle1 that's wonderful! i'm not sure if we did the same project but i also have a big jesus face. i used a black fabric and a glow in the dark thread. i gave it to my husband as a christmas present a few years back, and up to now he's still amazed by it.. :)

rdrelle1 oh i know how you feel :) that's why i stopped for right now coz my eyes just get so tired pretty quickly.. maybe because lately i'm spending too much time infront of my computer.. but i'd like to do another project.. just dont feel like it at this point.. so...

rdrelle1 wow! thanks very much for the suggestions. i think i might frame it myself.. i have one framed already but i still have at least five finished projects that needs to be framed. i won't hide it much longer ehehehe.

rdrelle1 i love crocheting too but the problem is i dont know how to read a pattern. so when i do something, i try to make a pattern of my own :)

rdrelle1 it can really be very expensive. my husband framed one of my finished pieces and gave it as a wedding gift. but i havent tried framing one myself. i might try it in a not so distant future :)

rdrelle1 that's the thing about cross-stitching, it's like pringles, once you pop you can't stop! :) i haven't had a chance to frame my pieces as it will cost me a fortune.. i have at least five. :) the only thing that's hanging on our bedroom wall was my third project...

rdrelle1 I haven't done it in a while either. after my last project, which is adonis, i stopped and almost forgot that i have one project left which is the 8 horses (i think). it's fun but geez just too much work :) i love the finish products though. my friends even...
