Just wanted to know what purple heart recipients recieve? I getting the impression it is just a medal....which I don't agree with. My husband got shot and...

richb196 Have your husband join a local Veterans group,(DAV,VFW,etc). They can represent him in a disability claim with the VA. Tell him I'm proud of him, I have two myself.
