Do you think marriage will become obsolete one day?

A co-worker said she heard on a news radio show that one commentator believes the insitutiion of marriage will not be as important one day. Maybe even obsolete. Do you believe this is possible? or it will happen?

samsonmary50 I think this is entirely possible. My family is devastated that I am getting married and would prefer that I just live with my intended instead. To me, that offers a "one foot out the door mentality" that would just make me nervous. By marrying, I am promising...
