ntldr missing

I installed windows xp and then added windows 2000. Now when i boot up, there is a msg when i load windows xp. ntldr missing. But when i boot windows 2000, its working fine. How to boot into windows xp without reinstalling both...

Uroborus Yes they do categorize it. They also used key words or tags that the responder writes after the have submitted a post. Someone else can find a discussion by using the search option. Try searching for something and see. Oh and I noticed you're new (only 10...

what is the difference between a cache and a buffer? I have been asked this question in ma campus interview and I am yet to find the answer. I think there is no difference...but there must be..unless the interviewer asked it to...

Taskr36 The problem is that you are supposed to load older versions of Windows first. Your Windows 2000 installation overwrote the bootloader for Windows XP. I think that if you use your Windows XP CD to do a repair installation it will reinstall the bootloader so you...

Damir Sovic I had a similar situation. Solved via BIOS. Just uncheck the SATA option and XP will install.
