sappho99336 Yes, she mentioned wanting to see Shay, so I was thinking that part of the story might come up again. But I think you're right as far as custody; being a single lesbian wouldn't have helped her, but someone like Bette or Tina would have had a better shot.

sappho99336 yes, it is pretty overbearing! I have seen profiles where a friend has posted one for someone, but not where a parent has. I think that it would be a pretty hard thing to explain to someone later.

sappho99336 Yes, my yoga teacher is pretty good about reminding us not to do more than we can handle. I don't really so much love the yoga classes themselves, but I feel so much better afterwards that it's worth it to me. Thanks for your input!

sappho99336 Yes, there are actually two characters from other books(Patrick Ducharme from, I think, Perfect Match, and also Peter's defense attorney in Nineteen Minutes was Chris's defense attorney in The Pact. How awesome that you have a signed copy!

sappho99336 Her books are very intense and can be upsetting, though I love reading them because they are so interesting and thought-provoking. You'd better brace yourself when you do read Nineteen Minutes, because it's very intense.

sappho99336 Yes, I've never been bitten by a cat, but I have been clawed at by a couple, and it does hurt. Most cats are sweet, but some can be mean. My sister had a cat that used to hide in the shadows and leap out and claw people's ankles. Definitely not appreciated....

sappho99336 I don't think it's a desperate move. Lots and lots of people use these ads these days. Besides, I think it can work well if you are shy; you can get to know someone through emails and phone calls before having to meet them in person.

sappho99336 I suppose if someone finds and tries to use the fake idol, they might be angry enough to vote him off, if they realize that he's the one who did it. I thought it was really clever of him, though, and I hope someone does find it.

sappho99336 I can't remember which ones I did. I didn't do any of the $.80 per day ones that you can do. I can do the same ones on Inbox dollars for one dollar instead of $.80. I also avoided ones that required a credit card or signed you up for some other survey panel.
