In our college, our undergraduate director has allowed us to see our ranking every semester and since there are about 100 students in each course students get really excited to see how their rank some feel happy but others are...

Sevenhart I agree but as to how I would feel about it...generally, I wouldn't care considering that it's just a number but if I got into the top five, I'd be happy but then again wouldn't anyone? You don't have to be totally serious about the rankings to get depressed...
