Who should pay on the first date?

Should the guy automatically pay? Or whoever does the asking? We live in modern times, but typically the guy does the asking still. What do you think?

shazeldg I think the person who invited should be the one to pay during a date regardless if it's the first, the second, the third or so on. It's not proper that the guy should always pay for the date.

Do you live in the city, country, suburbs, farm, mountains, beach? What kind of area do you reside in? What state and/or country is that in? I live in the suburbs by the Gulf of Mexico in Florida, USA

shazeldg i live in a city but our house is not at the city proper. it's near the beach.actually it's like less than a kilometer walk from our house. i live in a subdivision where it's very safe.

shazeldg i found out i was pregnant after my 19th birthday. my boyfriend and i bought a pregnancy test and checked the day after my birthday party. it's wasn't planned, so we hid it from our family. we said we woiuld tell them after christmas, then it turned after new...
