Oh, and I'm a stay at home mother so I would never put her in daycare. I really believe in being there for your kids, I would rather have less nice things and be at home with my baby than out working and miss out on her life. We do leave her for a couple of...

Do you also believe infants should feed, change, bathe, and dress themselves as well? You know, so the parents don't always have to do it? I don't understand why our culture promotes independence for infants when they are unable to do anything for themselves....

Why is it unwise? Babies need their parents, why are people so scared of letting their babies feel loved and secure. It won't "spoil" him, you can't give a baby too much love and attention!

How often do you roll out of bed and on to the floor at night? We are still aware of things when we are asleep, especially our babies! You will not roll on your baby as long as you are sober. If you do fall off the bed I would not recommend sharing a bed...

Well, there has but it is a small percentage that doesn't account for things like intoxicated or obese parents that are the biggest cause of death to infants in co-sleeping situations. Co-sleeping is so great but don't ever do it if you're drunk or on drugs....

The World Health Organisation recommends EXCLUSIVE breastfeeding for the first 6 months of life and then with solids till age 2. I do understand that there are some medical reasons than some women can't breastfeed or continue to breastfeed past infancy.

That's terrible! Why would medical professionals try to encourage you to do something that would be in your son's best interests?

I agree. Breastfeeding can be hard at first but is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. It's so amazing!
