My daugther is 4 years old and I would like to buy her a puppy as a pet....I do not have a big house but i have a good size yard so i want a dog that does grow too big..any suggestions???

Help! My baby is constipated. I have been regularly breastfeeding him and giving him water but I noticed that he's having a hard time moving his bowels. He strains too hard to the point that his face gets all red and he cries...

for my toddler? She is 2 1/2 and still in her crib. When should she move to a big girl bed? I think it should be now but my husband thinks she is too young. We have an 8 year old but can't remember when he went to a big boy bed....

micheller Yes, I think that she is old enough to have a big girl bed. Just do what you said and put a gate up by her door. She can easily get hurt if she tried to climb out of her crib, so i think it's better to get her a regular child bed.

tashadimmitt i think it is a perfect time for her to be in a bed. I would put the gate up and put a baby monitor in her room so you can hear when she wakes up!

Sarah1977 Your daughter is probably ready for a toddler bed. At her age, she is most likely able to climb out of her crib, which can be dangerous. My youngest son recently turned 2, and we are in the process now of transferring him to a toddler bed.

sproutz We moved my son @ 2 1/2 and had very few issues./ It depends on your child. Will she fall out of the bed? Will she be mroe likely to play? Good luck!

wmaharper I think you should wait until she tries to climb out of her crib. WE moved my son early because we had another one on the way, but he does pretty good. We don't allow him to get out of bed without our permission. So when he wakes up, he'll sit in bed and wait...

cdirock We changed our son into a bed about 2.5. That is the average age I believe. You should be railings on the side though. I agree with you about the gates. Good Luck.

jenbatres I think each child is different. My oldest was in a toddler bed her first birthday. My middle child was in her crib until about 18 months. My youngest was out by 10 months. I think when you feel your child is able to stay in bed, you should switch them. I...

Gabs Well you I would agree with you You can get Bed Guards for little ones that you can put up so she does not fall out I had them for my Kids and of course the Child Gate in front of her Door That is what I suggest but I agree she is old enough to be in a big...

Mommamea Is he worried about her falling out of the crib when she decides to climb out? Does she have her own room? I would be worried about her roaming the house only if she wakes up in the night now. If she is sleeping well in the crib why wouldn't she do the same...

cutepenguin My cousin's baby is in a toddler bed. They put a gate up on his door. He actually doesn't seem to get out of it and roam the house. He just calls for his mom.
