Which storage would you prefer? a CD/DVD or external drive?

Yesterday while cleaning up the house, we have got tons of CDs hidden and all files were of movies, games, files that we saved, etc... and we just end up throwing all of them anyway-- so my brother and i were talking about this...

sims87 I would personally use an external harddrive as they have more space and tend to last longer than dvds and cds but once you put on the hard drive you can keep the cds as backup or you can put it on 2 drives exactly the same and then you would have a backup....
