smf210 I know it is rediculous, but NYU is one of the top schools in the nation and studying neurology here would really help me later in my professional life. If things do not work out though, I might sadly end up back home in Indiana at a state school.

smf210 i don't mean to sound rude, I really appreciate the suggestion, but I have worked since I was 13 years old to support my family. I had to take a semester off to get adjusted to life in New York. Of course I will be working again as soon as I am situated.

smf210 it is hard, especially in neuroscience majors, but I am applying for one tomorrow. We all have to do what we can to stay where we want to be! Hopefully I can get an office job on campus where they will still let me study.
