I was just looking at a news story about a mother in Serbia who apparently has never been able to take her now two-month old baby home because the hospital is holding the baby 'hostage' until she can pay her hospital fees....

smurf78 That is so horrible.I can't even imagine what i would do if i was told i couldn't take my babies home. Surely using a human being as a hostage isn't legal. That poor woman.

How do you do your laundry?

Do you go to a laundry mat? Do you have a washer and dryer at home? or do you do it the old fashioned way and wash them in a sink or tub at home? the laundry mat is getting pretty expensive for me. I live in a small apartment...

smurf78 I have just bought a new front loader washing machine, and i love it. It's quite, it uses less water and i can do bigger loads. I don't use a dryer though. I either hang my clothes outside or for my children's clothes i use an airer to dry them.

smurf78 I must be in the minority, because i hardly ever drink coffee or tea, but when i do i go the 2 sugars with milk option. My husband on the other hand puts 5 0r 6 sugars in there. It's so horrible and sweet. Urrrr

I have been reading nursery books to my 17mo old daughter everyday but as much as I want her to sit and listen more, her attention span is still short and leaves probably after 5 minutes..I'm just wandering, do other mommies...
