Anyone into lasers?

I recently took apart the red laser pointer I got on my trip to China like 8-9 years ago cause I was bored. Bad idea. In the process, I probably broke the stupid thing but I have no clue considering I dont have the batteries...

sniper_87 I did that too. Sometimes dollar stores have cheap lasers, or if you search around on the net you should find a lot. this one is 9.99:
