What's the best roadtrip you've ever been on?

Where did you go? How long was the trip? Did you have it pre-planned or did you just "wing" it? My husband and I took a roadtrip from California to Louisianna one year. It was very long and dry (Texas!) but it was still enjoyable!...

sweetleidy03 my best road trip was when i drove to virginia in the fall. the trees were gorgeous. the colors, yellow, red, orange. the rolling hills. the cool breeze. complete beauty.
