Nothing tangible lasts on this planet for ever. I often wonder if all the paintings I do should have a shelf life, where I let them live for 10 or 20 years, then destroy them afterwards. They'll all crumble at some point. But...

szn_artist I also fire up and paint like a mad (wo)man when I am really, really sad or upset. There is a great short (movie) that Nick Nolte stars in about an famous artist setting himself up for heartache so he can paint. I also get fired up with great music playing....
