suscan Insurance is very expensive,it is important to try to keep it. If you get new insurance and have a "pre-existing" condition,they do not have to cover it.

max1950 a law was passed 2 years ago that pre existing conditions DO NOT HAVE TO BE REVEALED AT LEAST IN THE STATES which might help some people,hope this helps.

sunshinecup We are lucky, my husbands employment has their own insurance for their employees and it is very affordable. Thank God, cause when you have two asthmatics and one of them is also ADD, the medications and doctor visits are incredible.

loved1 I always make sure my entire family has medical insurance. Illness is unpredictable and can be financially devastating. Some procedures would not be given without proof that you could pay the bill. It is just not worth the risk to go without insurance.
