Do you read while you eat?

When I was young , my mother told me very very strongly that we ought not to read while we eat. Even aftr marriage[ and now Iam middleaged]I don't do this. No one is after me preventing me but somehow I do not read while I eat....

terancechen i don multitask when im entertaining my stomach. not a good example and habit tho , not suggested :X
