TessWhite No, I'm not doing repairs to this place. I've just sold it -"as is." The new owners will have to deal with all the repairs this old place needs. I'm so glad to be moving to my new home this next month! Thanks for the response.

TessWhite Unfortunately I at least have to shut it, if not latch it. Outside the bathroom is a window. Right under that window is the meters for utility readers. I have no wish to be sitting on the toilet with the door open and wave at the meter reader at eye level. LOL...

TessWhite I think part of what scared me is my front door was open (just the screen door closed). And I was afraid someone would walk right in and rob the place. This neighborhood has a reputation for break ins.

TessWhite You know now that you mention your scare reminds me of another time many years ago. I was in my nightgown and went out my door down the stairs to our laundry room/garage. Problem was the door shut and locked behind me. AND we always kept our garage locked on...

TessWhite I did check the hinges, but couldn't manage it. Besides, they had been painted over and all I had were a hairbrush and scissors. LOL

TessWhite Yea I think he is going to have to resort to being sneaky. He makes a healthy version of nachos with ground turkey, veggies and low fat cheese. The kids didn't think they would like them, but tried them and loved them - without ever knowing they were healthy....

TessWhite Thanks for the response. I'm going to suggest yogurt and healthy snacks to my son for his kids. They rarely get junk at his place though as it is.
